Debi Jones has done a bit of a review about the new Nokia browser — which uses open source software. There are some good screen captures which demonstrate how the browser uses a red rectangle to zoom in on parts of a page, as well as a “fish eye view” to scroll between different pages. It looks good, and seems to be a good way to navigate on the small mobile screens. However, it seems to be loading all the page, which means it’s still going to be slow on a mobile network. The browser is designed for the series 60 smartphones. (via Picturephoning)
