Sure, the WLAN has great range for the full minute it stays up, but basic gateway functionality doesn’t work and it hangs all the time… It really only makes me angry. Amit Varshneya November 29th, 2005 Doesn’t Belkin also already offer a Pre-N MIMO Router (in addition to Netgear as the gentleman above pointed out) ? This isn’t marketing-speak, this is lying. Jeff Blaine November 28th, 2005 Okay, I figured it was marketing speak, but just wanted to make sure I didn’t misunderstand the Netgear products’ scope. I’ll dig further. Om Malik November 28th, 2005 also netgear is using technology from ruckus wireless, which is not “pre -802.11n” according to some, though I couldn’t tell the difference between the two except for the press releases … ;-) Om Malik November 28th, 2005 well, that is why i trimmed that bit out. its just a simple pointer… they got new routers out. not buying their PR spin as yet :-) Jeff Blaine November 28th, 2005 Regarding the comment below – Hasn’t Netgear offered this pre-N stuff for months now? “We believe that being the first company to actually bring this new generation of MIMO products to market reinforces the Linksys heritage of offering the most advanced networking technology to our customers,” Comments are closed.
