Bodhtree Plans To Revolutionise The Way E-Papers Are Read With A Slew Of Multimedia Features

Exchange4Media.com: Hyderabad-based Bodhtree Consulting is planning to redefine the way e-papers will be read.

“We are almost going to revolutionise the way people see e-papers. Now on, e-paper will be a convergence platform for both print and electronic media. We have already started providing the technology where the software can read out an article for you if you don’t have time to read it. Very soon, we are going to attach relevant video clippings with news articles on e-paper, thus taking the whole experience of reading an e-paper to the next level. For this, we are already in talks with major national and international news agencies and channels to access their video footages. The service will be launched within two weeks in India,” said Sanjiv Gupta, CEO & Co-founder, Bodhtree Consulting Ltd.

The company is also planning to add many other multimedia value additions like movie trailers, product videos, audio jingles and 3D real estate walkthroughs. Feedback forms with print ads and opinion polls on news articles are also to be introduced, thus making e-papers more interactive.
The company also plans to start classified bookings through SMS for e-papers. It provides solutions on a revenue-sharing ASP model. The company owns, operates and maintains the servers that run the e-paper.
