About the Retail Merchandising Manager
The Retail Merchandising Manager is a primary customer-facing representative of Infospace Mobile’s retail merchandising and storefront strategy with major operators, MVNOs, entertainment companies, handset manufacturers and direct to consumer storefronts. The Retail Merchandising Manager will be a part of the Los Angeles based Entertainment Marketing & Programming team and will work very closely with the content production and licensing teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Optimize digital media merchandising to increase retail revenue across all assigned storefronts.
– Spearhead storefront programming for audio and graphic content.
– Work with production and licensing to be aware of all new available content and track content availability through production.
– Communicate availability of premium content to all clients as well programming and merchandising suggestions.
– Work with content production and catalog teams to ensure optimal speedy delivery and awareness of media content to all available storefronts.
– Optimize content refresh cycles in all merchandising categories in media and graphics.
– Work with Marketing and Promotions team to program content for promotions and key retail categories.
– Communicate with the clients to understand content store-fronting parameters and goals.
– Develop catalog structure and content parameters for all promotional categories based on storefront limitations and client expectations.
– Monitor and analyze weekly transactions in all categories in assigned storefronts as well as work with merchandising team to analyze transactions across all client/company storefronts.
– Create client transactional reports based on above analysis.
Skills and Experience:
– Two + years of successful retail experience in a digital environment. One+ year minimum in digital entertainment retail environment strongly preferred.
– Must have a strong understanding and participate in current pop culture and pop culture trends -must know music and films.
– Extremely well versed in MS Excel, MS Project, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, Visio or other project management tools
– Excellent written and oral communication abilities, including excellent presentation abilities
– Strong Analytical, organizational and scheduling skills
– Ability to successfully digest and communicate analytics internally as well as externally to client
– You should be flexible and able to problem solve strategically
– Experience in coordinating cross team projects and managing conflicting requirements/needs
– Ability to successfully communicate internally across multiple departments as well as with external clients
– Ability to contribute to, develop, communicate and follow new processes and procedures
– Must be detail oriented and able to manage details while keeping an eye on the รข
