About the Infospace Mobile Division
InfoSpace Mobile provides nearly half of all mobile content available in North America and is taking that dominance to the international market. The core of our business is content, applications, tools and infrastructure that enable wireless carriers and content providers to streamline the creation, management and delivery of successful mobile data to their customers. InfoSpace leads the global mobile gaming industries with our three dynamic game studios located in San Mateo, London and Hamburg. Our LA-based media office drives content generation through established relationships with every major and independent recording label, movie studio and television production company. Our Bellevue-based portal services and search and directory teams continue to innovate and re-invent mobile media and how it is accessed and used by consumers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
– Develop and manage all aspects of marketing communications including positioning, messaging, branding, advertising, collateral and web
– Act as corporate-wide brand advocate and enthusiastically manage and grow strong brands across business units
– Own product launch from the marketing perspective, coordinating activities with Product Management and Promotions teams
– Support the sales team by creating, managing and evolving a comprehensive set of sales tools.
– Develop multi-media collateral system; generate original content as well as edit/approve content of others
– Manage vendors and budgets in development of these activities
– Create synergetic programs between media, games and portal divisions
– Work cross functionally within the marketing team and global business units
– Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President – Marketing
Required Skills, Education & Experience
– Eight+ years in marketing communications
– Five+ years in consumer products; high-tech, media or games experience strongly preferred
– Proven attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to manage major concurrent programs required
– Prior experience in managing vendors and budgets
– Ability to work in a fast paced environment with critical deadlines
– Willingness to work among diverse colleagues in a decentralized, global organization
– Education: BA in Marketing or Communications required
