When I was sorting through coverage of last weekend’s Portable Media Expo, I kept running into a quirky situation. There were podcasts aplenty — no surprise, there — but it was hard for me to tell which ones might be relevant to our audience and I couldn’t spend hours listening on the offchance that I’d find a nugget or two. Instead, I skipped most of them. If, however, they had good metadata posted along with the link or there was a way to search for key words, I might have been able to incorporate podcasts into my coverage of podcasts.
