WSJ.com, LexisNexis Form Exclusive Law Firm Distribution Pact

A good example of the constant search for incremental income … later today, LexisNexis and WSJ.com are scheduled to announce that LN will be the exclusive distributor of enterprise subscriptions to the Online Journal to law firms in North America. Now here’s the interesting part — to strengthen the alliance WSJ.com will enhance its coverage of the legal industry by increasing coverage of events and trends, adding a legal industry blog and publishing an exclusive newsletter for lexis.com subs and prospects with content from LN and the Online Journal. Also, the LN subscriptions will offer co-branding, cross-linking and easy access to lexis.com content; access can be through a site license and links on lexis.com or as direct seamless access through a firm’s intranet. The new arrangement launches in January.
