Buongiorno Vitaminic’s New Blinko Brand; Revs and Profits Up

Buongiorno Vitaminic, the Italian multi-national mobile content company which is making a market entry into U.S. as well, recently launched a consumer brand called Blinko…this is the mobile content brand under which it will operate its portals in all the countries it works in. In U.S, Blinko will replace the current U.S. brand, Dirty Hippo.
Makes sense, especially in U.S., where the company name is not exactly easy to pronounce…
On the Q3 earnings side, Buongiorno said its revenues of Euro 35.3 million were up 73% compared to Q3 2004 and up 17.3% compared to previous quarter. Net Income came in at Euro 1.7 Million.
The geographic breakdown shows that revenues increased 163% in Q3 in the Iberian Peninsula and South America, the main sales market for the company. Sales in the UK and US increased 72%, driven by the performance of the U.S. subsidiary, which began operations in late 2004.
