Gary Sasaki of Digdia, a digital media consulting firm, has very graciously provided us with a report on the Dow Jones VentureWire Consumer Technology Ventures conference held in Redwood City, CA last week…the conference was focused on digital home and lifestyle startups.
The report contains reports on the startups who presented at the conference, including Veoh, Avvenu, Predixis and others…there were 72 companies presenting.
Also in the report are some good figures on funding within the consumer technology sector: First round valuations have been increasing. The median was $4.7 million in 2003, $6.7 million in 2004 and is about $9 million this year.
All in all, a very good roundup..these are some of the companies you’ll hear about or fund in the near future.
