I wonder if there is a weekly meeting at Verizon HQ that goes like this:

Suit 1: No matter how we dick over our customers, they just keep coming back for more.

Suit 2: Hell, we’re still kicking everyone’s ass in terms of net adds.

Suit 1: This is getting boring. We’ve got to come up with something that will really piss people off so that the competition has a chance.

Suit 3: I know! What if we . . .
