They then attempt to take pictures of the opposing team, and if successful they send the picture to the opposing team member. Ministry of Sound Ibiza Game: THQ Wireless is publishing a game by Kato Studios that is different from the normal style: “Instead of having to kill enemies, the player must try to work the crowds, get free access to the best clubs and after-hours, get invited to the most exclusive parties, make out with the most gorgeous boys and girls and become the “leader” of the island, besides having to accomplish some other “missions”.” The game aims to “introduce mobile games to the trendiest crowd”, that being the group who’s main aim is to go to Ibiza to party…
AVACS Business Life: AVACS has also released a game with a different goal…AVACS Business Life is described as “the first multiplayer game for mobile phones immersing the player into the virtual world of economic simulator, where the actions of each player influence this world and consequently other players”. Players have to lead their small company to the heights of business success through pleasant surprises and unexpected strokes of fate.
Vibrating Games: Immersion Corporation — which earlier this year announced Vibetonz technology — has signed a new agreement with mobile content publishers I-play to put the technology in a couple of games on the Samsung SCH n-330 handset through Verizon Wireless: street racing game 2Fast 2Furious and arcade retro classic Metal Slug Mobile. –Alternative Software has announced the launch of their new mobile game, the officially licensed, “Super League Rugby League”, which will be available for all major mobile handsets.
–Sennari Entertainment has announced it has signed a deal with Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products to create PrizePlay skill with prize based games based upon the Star Trek franchise. Games will be made in both mobile and web versions. The games will launch in the first quarter of 2006 in Europe and the Americas.
–G3 Studios has scored the deal to bring “Bobby Carrot 3″ to BREW and J2ME handsets throughout North and South America.
