Business Standard: We had talked about Chennai-based Midas Communication Technologies‘ plans to become $1 billion company in another three or four years from $90 million company currently. And what will make that possible is its new wireless broadband product which it’s launching for the Indian market – which can withstand extreme weather conditions. It’s called Citius.
The company has just launched its CorDECT product which has high bit rate data capabilities and toll quality voice, a company release said. Targeted at telecommunications and Internet service providers, broadband CorDECT system has been designed to enable the users to easily adapt to various customer requirements like voice, data and video services. It also supports email/chat and SMS without a computer or mobile service. The statement said that the system was highly scalable, and is built to withstand extreme weather conditions. It is environment-friendly and cost-effective for mass deployment, the release added.
