Job Title: Manager, Business Development

Department: Business Development, CCOMR

Reports To: Director, Business Development

Manages the Following Positions:

Status: Exempt or Non-Exempt

JOB RESPONSIBILITY/SUMMARY:

– Analyze data from a variety of sources to maintain daily management reporting and determine trends in consumer usage of all CCOMR web services

– Maintain database of competitive intelligence across digital media services’

– Assist in the development of new partnerships for the service

– Maintain database of potential strategic partners and vendors

– Assist in the creation of third party relationships in marketing, content, technology or other areas

AUTHORITY: Assist in representing the company in new and ongoing business, with permission and oversight of senior management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

– Create internal presentations

– Create pitch presentations to potential partners

– Conduct research and competitive research/analysis

– Analyze internal reporting for business development purposes

– Draft term sheets

– Manage individual projects/initiatives

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

Minimum Education: College degree (bachelor’s)

Minimum Experience: 2+ years from consulting or industry background (business development capacity)

Knowledge of:

Music industry / Radio

Financial principles

Digital entertainment space

Interest in new media

Analytical/Interpersonal Skills:

Must have strong quantitative skill set, familiarity/fluency with excel/spreadsheets, financial modeling experience a plus

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; Self Starter; Ability to work without supervision on short term projects; excellent telephone skills

Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives at the same time

Strong written and verbal skills

Ability to work independently

Ability to work well with other people on cross functional teams

Good time management skills

Ability to listen

Analytical skills
