Sony is distributing the PSP Media Manager, “the easiest way to move music, movies and more to your PSP system.” I’ve already seen some descriptions that call it iTunes-like. Well, sort of, in the sense that it’s a way to manage, transfer and convert content but it’s not integrated with a store … yet. It also runs $20 download, $30 for the packaged version. According to Russell Beattie, it’s no iTunes clone as a manager but it works as promised. I agree with him — they won’t keep be able to keep charging given the slick free options out there.
Meanwhile, as BetaNews reports, Sony is busy trying to clean up a CD DRM mess.
