Online trade media company Jupitermedia continues on its image makeover, in more ways than one: it reported Q3 earnings today, and revenues were $34.4 million, compared to $15.8 million in the year-ago quarter, an increase of 118%. Net income was $60.4 million compared to net income of $5.1 million in the year-ago quarter. Net income included a gain of $29.1 million…related to the sale of its Search Engine Strategies events and ClickZ.com Network, as well as a $23.5 million tax benefit.
Interestingly, its online images division is now the biggest revenue earner, compared to online sites: it had $24 million in revenues for Q3, compared to $6.8 millin in the year-ago quarter. On the online media side, its revenues were $7.77 million, compared to $6.69 million in the year-ago quarter. Meanwhile, JupiterResearch grew slowly to $2.56 million for the quarter.
