Buongiorno Vitaminic: Content Licensing Manage, Miami

Buongiorno Vitaminic, one of the world’s leading companies in the mobile value-added service (VAS) sector, has an opening within the Global Licensing Team, to support our rapidly expanding wireless content services in the US and Latin America. Buongiorno is a fast growing, publicly listed company with over 400 employees in 15 countries around the world that supplies digital content services to wireless operators & retailers and directly to consumers. Based in the Miami office, the Content Licensing Manager will be involved in licensing all types of content from a wide variety of media partners, music labels, and movie studios, and coordinating with the local Buongiorno product teams to successfully get the content to market.

Responsibilities of the Content Licensing Manager include:

– Defining the licensing strategy and identifying target properties for Buongiorno in conjunction with the Global Products Team and local sales teams

– Negotiating licenses with content partners and fully managing those ongoing relationships

– Regularly coordinating with the Global Products Team and contributing to Buongiorno’s Global Product Strategy

– Contributing to new product & licensing strategy brainstorming

– Coordinating with Data Analysis team to define analysis requirements and effectively incorporate findings into licensing strategy

– Support sales teams in regular client meetings regarding wireless content services & products

Personal Requirements:

– Dynamic, innovative, solution-oriented and diligent individual

– Ability to multi-task and achieve results well in a fast-paced environment

– Comfortable to work both independently and within a team

– Min 2 years experience in licensing of content/products for digital distribution, preferably for mobile services

– Strong understanding of media industry operations and licensing (TV, Film, Music, Games, etc) and contacts within those fields

– Working knowledge of contract law and/or entertainment law

– Experience in product management a plus

– Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese

– Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)

– Flexibility to work extended hours (as required)

– Ability to travel (domestic and international)

– US citizenship or work permit
