BSkyB, the UK satellite behemoth owned by News Corp, is understood to be contemplating a bid for IPTV service Homechoice, reports Guardian, though the company has denied that it is for sale.
Homechoice parent Video Networks could be ripe for a takeover after reporting a $82 million loss recently. It is among the early pioneers in IPTV in UK..Homechoice is available to 2.5m UK homes, but it was reported in January to have just 15,000 subscribers.
