We’re looking for a highly motivated manager to join our growing national wireless media sales force. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with an entrepreneurial yet well disciplined spirit, interested in joining a dynamic organization.
You will be responsible for generating, driving and managing the sales process for Weathernews’ Transmedia group. Your primary focus is to sell existing products to prospective partners as well as creating excitement in the market for new products in the Wireless and Telco industries. This position is crucial to the growth and success of the company going forward and thus will be a high-demand, high profile position.

Your Primary Responsibilities
– Develop and manage business with Carrier, Media Companies including Broadcast News Affiliates and Lifestyle Brand Partners
– Develop sales through active engagement channel marketing with carriers
– Support Regional Sales Director in the ongoing service of new and existing customers
– Negotiate and implement contracts with customers
– Respond to inquiries and concerns of customers
– Provide client and territory appropriate product development and marketing direction for wireless content and services
– Manage sales forecasting activities as they relate to your specific client accounts
– Assist Regional Sales Director in developing yearly territory strategies to meet objectives
– Review marketing analyses to determine industry trends in order to make recommendations regarding client needs and pricing
– Evaluate and recommend new opportunities within our market
– Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences and meetings
– Make sales presentations to clients
– Manage the activities and results of sales associated with your clients
– Manage tactical plans and programs for the achievement of sales goals
– Handle and develop accounts as assigned by the VP of Media Services
– Manage day-to-day relationships with clients in the Wireless, and Telco as well as Media Company, Broadcast News affiliate and Lifestyle Brand industries
– May recommend and/or develop advertising products and programs to enhance advertising sales
– Perform other duties as required
Requirements
– PROVEN and document-able track record of success
– A solid background managing multiple carrier relationships
– Experience developing wireless content and marketing partnerships with Broadcast and Media companies.
– Bachelors degree, in Sales, Marketing, Business or equivalent
– Minimum of 3 years sales and/or account management experience
– Effective negotiation skills to influence decision making bodies both internally and externally
– Ability to interact constructively with multi-functional team members
– Ability to work independently and yet be fully accountable
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels including management and staff personnel both internally and externally (encompasses verbal, written, listening)
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Strong organizational skills
