Vodafone Australia has launched its 3G service and is “strongly positioning its 3G service in the entertainment sphere with a lot more focus on video and music content than online browsing”, which is hardly surprising given the company’s track record. Vodafone has some good deals (such as Jamiroquai and South Park) which appeal to the mid-20s bracket…having a good portal is great as long as people are free to surf 3rd party sites…
