Samsung Music Service In The Works

Samsung is planning its own music store a la iTunes. According to an AP report from Seoul, Choi Gee-sung, who heads Samsung’s digital media business says the company is developing the service with foreign and domestic partners to complement its MP3 devices and spur sales. No details on when, who, how. Samsung is on track to sell 3.7 million players this year, which would double last year’s sales but still is a drop in the MP3 hardware bucket.
