JOB SPECIFICS
The Senior Product Marketing Manager provides product positioning, market solutions, go-to-market strategies, pricing, competitive analysis, product rollouts, and sales support for new and unique commerce products.
– Design and implement strategic marketing programs to drive business for key products, including market identification and analysis and delivery of go-to-market strategies and marketing programs
– Assist existing customers with “sell-through” marketing programs, merchandising, and promotions
– Provide input to product strategy based on market research and customer feedback, working closely with the Product and Engineering teams.
– Roll out new products to sales and partners, including creating new sales collateral materials and conducting sales training
– Work with product and engineering team to test product concepts and marketing ideas in usability studies and focus groups, online panels and other market research approaches, and provide market requirements feedback to company
Experience and Skills Required
– 5-7 years in product marketing, consumer marketing, or strategic marketing
– Strong knowledge of ecommerce practices, and the ecommerce marketplace
– 1-2 years in the mobile, ecommerce or gaming space with an awareness of trends in the mobile and content space
– 1-2 years marketing digital content and/or commerce products to consumers
– Experience in both enterprise marketing and consumer marketing a plus
– Strong knowledge and experience with emerging technologies, particularly wireless. Familiarity with technologies such as XML, WAP, J2ME, XHTML/WML, Web Services and Java a plus
– Excellent interpersonal and communications with direct customer experience
– Strong presentation and writing skills, with experienc writing specifications, product positioning, product collateral, and white papers
– Be enthusiastic, hard working self starter, with leadership skills, great attitude, and senior management potential
