Director/VP Direct to Consumer Content Ad Sales

This position will be responsible for developing monetization and commercial opportunities for major music entertainment companies’ current web properties first in the US then Globally.

Responsibilities will include:

– Formulating commercial proposition, setting commercial targets and building a sales force

– Managing 3rd party network/rep firm relationships

– Developing ad programs, packages, and pricing

– Cutting deals directly with major brand advertisers and agencies

– Interfacing with label and strategic marketing teams to integrate online marketing with other programs

– Building $8-10m in revenue in 2006

– Working with web teams to ensure that ad format, content, and tracking components support requirements of ad market

– Running P&L for our websites and managing the credit of profit back to the labels

– Individual has experience in ad sales, with specialization in selling rich media (video, streaming) ad formats in media properties; possesses extensive relationships and contacts in ad buying, agency, and major brand marketer communities
