Among the first such venture funding (Socialtext is another) Wikisphere, a Seattle-based provider of services for wiki creation and editing, has raised $5.25 million in first round funding, according to a regulatory filing. Backers include Trinity Ventures and Frazier Technology Ventures. The company is run by Blue Nile co-founder Ben Elowitz.
