The former CEO Brad Greenspan will pay $750,000 in penalties for his role in the company’s bundling of hidden spyware, the New York Attorney General’s office said on Thursday. The company had earlier agreed to pay $7.5 million to settle false advertising and deceptive business practice charges stemming from the software.
Intermix, which owns the MySpace.com, was acquired by News Corp. for $580 million earlier this month.
