I found out some more details on the Seattle-based MVNO being hatched out of VC firm Ignition Partners: It is an enterprise MVNO focused on fixed-mobile line convergence, and is headed by former CTO of AT&T Wireless Rod Nelson. From what I know, it has raised about $11 million in funding, which is not really MVNO-money, but this might be just a first tranche in a much bigger funding coming down the road. And then, Ignition has funded a bunch of mobile-related startups who could fit in different parts of the value chain for the MVNO, and bring down the costs.
