Wisden And Infomedia Plans To Print Cricinfo As A Magazine

Agencyfaqs.com: The journey from a website to a print magazine is unusual. For Cricinfo, it’s definitely unusual. Cricinfo is world’s largest and foremost cricket site. It was founded in 1993, and became the best source for global cricket data and information. The site recorded a phenomenal 100 million page views in the month of October 2000. Now it’s becoming a magazine.
Publishing house Infomedia India, in association with The Wisden Group which now owns Cricinfo, is preparing to launch a monthly magazine aimed at cricket fans. The magazine, titled Cricinfo, is expected to see the light of day in end 2005, and will be targeted at urban adults and professionals. The issue will be priced at Rs 50.
