i-Play has landed a partnership with International Sports Multimedia (ISM), the exclusive licensee of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for Interactive Entertainment Software, to publish a mobile phone game based on the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy. The game is scheduled for release in January 2006, just before the Olympic Winter Games in February — and they don’t want to get it out late…
Apparently it will be the first official licensed mobile phone game of the IOC. It’s probably best to try it out with the Winter Olympics before licensing the main event…
