Apple and Napster Withdraw P2P Site Ads

In UK, Apple and Napster have withdrawn adverts running on P2P file sharing websites following criticism from BPI, the UK record industry association. BPI described advertising legal music download services on sites that promote illegal file-sharing as a “sick joke”.

Guardian: Sky, O2, BT Broadband, Easymobile, msn Messenger and Barclays also use these networks to promote their services.
