Newspaper giant Tribune’s Q3 earnings were not a pretty picture in general: its profits tumbled 82 percent because of an adverse tax ruling that forced it to take a huge charge (More info here).
Meanwhile, interactive revenues were up 46 percent to $47 million “mainly due to strength in classified help wanted revenues”. No other info in the earnings, which is a shame…
