Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies — which distributes mobile content on cards intended to be sold through retail stores — has signed up Canadian electronics retailer “The Source” to sell its cards. There are around 900 The Source stores throughout Canada, and until a few months ago they were named “RadioShack”.
“In the first phase, Ki-Bi will produce 100,000 Rogers Wireless branded mobile content cards for distribution throughout The Source’s 900 consumer electronics stores. The Source is Canada’s largest retail electronics distributor and exclusively sells Rogers Wireless handsets in its stores. The deal will see the Rogers Wireless Ki-Bi cards offering content such as ringtones and wallpapers as well as links to the Rogers Wireless WAP site.”
