Dilithium Networks, a leading supplier of 3G multimedia solutions, today announced the opening of a global research and development centre in New Delhi.
“Opening a global design centre in India is to keep pace with the rapidly growing customer demand for our solutions, and to take advantage of the large and highly educated technical base available in India,” company CEO Paul Zuber said. “India will likely deploy 3G services in 2006, and given the large potential market, it is important that Dilithium develop local technical and support capabilities in advance of these launches,” he added.
Dilithium, which specialises in 3G video telephony solutions for mobile and broadband industries, appointed telecommunications industry veteran Sanjay Singh as head of its Indian operation, the company release added.
