3 Announce Mobile Music Video Deal with EMI

“3G network operators 3 have announced a partnership with EMI Music UK to supply full-length music videos directly to the company’s 3 million customers.”
Of course, music videos are almost a natural for mobile phones and its odd the deals weren’t made almost automatically. Still, 3’s Video Jukebox reportedly sold over 10 million music videos in the six months following its August 2004 launch. The latest deal provides more content, and appears to be on all of Hutchison’s “3” companies around the world, which makes a nice change from the market-by-market approach other companies have taken.
