Frost & Sullivan has predicted that DVB-H will be the mobile broadcast TV standard of choice, at least in Europe, and will be a hit by 2008. “DVB-H is set to be the easiest mobile TV solution to use. By 2010, service providers are likely to charge between 7 Euros and 12 Euros per month for its use…”The DVB-H mobile TV market is set to grow at an explosive rate and touch Euro 6.80 billion in revenues by 2011,” said Mookken. “The mobile average revenue per user (ARPU) is also likely to rise as prices increase.”
