Account Executive – NBCU Digital Media, NYC

QUALIFICATIONS: Understand the needs of customers, and develop solutions that meet customer’s needs

-Understanding of advertising / internet industries and business models

-Strong problem solving and negotiation skills

-Strong communication (both verbal and written) and customer service skills

-Excellent presentation skills

-Must be comfortable prospecting, generating proposals and closing the sale

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4 year college and a minimum of 3-4 years of related sales experience. Excellent communication and client relation skills a must. Position requires self-motivated, reliable, high-energy and professional individual who is able to negotiate and develop new business as well as work well in a team environment. Candidates must be computer literate (Excel, Power Point, Word), and have a capacity to work with and analyze numeric data.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Account Executive will be responsible for meeting or exceeding individual revenue goals as well as developing new business. This person will be responsible for managing their Agency & client relationships through day-to-day contact, looking for opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell clients, and ensuring clients receive superior customer service.-Manage portfolio of accounts assigned in their territory -Responsible for offering new high end complex solutions and multi-platform packages -Meet or exceed minimum goals for face-to-face meetings -Report on individual account performance -Troubleshoot basic client tech support requests and creative rotation requirements -Perform other job-related activities and duties as requested
