Nokia has delayed the launch of its premium music phone — N61 — until the beginning of next year, claiming it wants “to ensure that the phone, holding thousands of songs, would work on the widest range of music platforms and be a true “jukebox” mobile phone”. The phone will use Microsoft’s DRM technology, which is compatible with most music services on the internet (not the most popular one, of course, iTunes) and allows the transfer of music from the computer to the mobile — and presumably vice versa.
