I never could have imagined having a reason to write here once about Jon Bon Jovi let alone multiple times. Network Live’s first multi-platform event for AOL Music kicks off tonight: Bon Jovi: Have A Nice Day from the new Nokia Theatre Times Square. The album launches tomorrow. The concert can be seen live at 9:00 eastern on AOL or in more than 100 movie theaters, heard on XM, and later on AOL on demand.
Network Live is the new joint venture consisting led by Kevin Wall, the producer who pulled off Live 8, and AEG, AOL, XM; the Nokia Times Square is a new AEG venue.
Update: He’s everywhere … got home from dinner in time to catch a glimpse of Bon Jovi being simulcast for a song on ESPN’s NFL telethon for Katrina. Then I came across the latest from MLB.com — MLB.com Best Recordsis hosting a preview of the new album and selling a $14.95 pre-order that includes a bonus track, immediate access to five full-length streams and — drum roll — access to live audio of the 2005 playoffs and World Series on MLB.com GameDay Audio. The apparent connection: Bon Jovi, an Arena Football team owner, sells out baseball stadiums.
