In what is being billed as a turning point for iTV in UK, Viacom is to start offering interactive TV ad opportunities across its portfolio of UK digital TV channels.
The strategy looks set to launch in phases, with sales house Viacom Brand Solutions (VBS) initially offering iTV ad opps across the MTV and VH1 cluster of channels, gradually followed by the Nickelodeon and Paramount properties.
It also comes just weeks after MTV Networks UK & Ireland announced plans to launch a raft of iTV apps around some of its most popular programmes, including the UK version of Pimp My Ride.
