Music retailer Trans World Entertainment Corporation (which runs the f.y.e. music stores) is partnering with mobile proximity solutions provider WideRay to launch “Download & Go” mobile entertainment stations at select f.y.e. stores.
Customers armed with Bluetooth-enabled wireless devices will be able to access entertainment content via the stations, which will feature music, video, games, ringtones and wallpapers from EMI Music, Twentieth Century Fox, Digital Chocolate and others. The stations will offer content as free downloads or try-and-buy applications.
Initially the stations will be placed in nine locations in New York, Los Angeles and Boston.
