Yahoo Rethinks Portal Front Page

Larry Tesler, Yahoo’s still-new vice-president for the User Experience and Design group, is trying to lessen the clutter of the portal’s front page. But, Tesler tells BW’s Sarah Lacey, the modifications are being made piecemeal to avoid freaking out the millions of people who rely on the page for web and Yahoo navigations. Tesler: “We are looking at more ways to personalize the experience. Also, we’re always looking at ways of simplifying the navigation.”
