This article uses halloween to argue that in countries with saturated mobile markets growth is going to come from adding services…and I suspect holidays will play a big part of that. Mobile companies are will want customers to send mobile content rather than physical or online cards, for example. Decorating your mobile in the holiday spirit will be as popular as decorating your house or car…although I think it will be a while before trick-or-treating kids will receive mobile content via bluetooth instead of candy — tantalising prospect though, no?
