Verizon Wireless To Sell Music-Playing Phones Soon

The buzz on mobile music services in U.S. is getting louder…Verizon Wireless, the No. 2 U.S. mobile service, plans next week to start selling three mobile phones with built-in digital music players. Phones from Motorola, UTStarcom and LG will have detachable storage that allows users to download music from computers…
The official release is here, with details: The Motorola E815 and the UTStarcom CDM-8940 come equipped
with MP3 players and are available today…In addition, the LG VX8100, introduced in
July, can be upgraded at any Verizon Wireless location to include MP3 capability.
