Adam Curry and Ron Bloom’s PodShow has made its first acquisition — and it’s an acq-hire: podcast directory Podcast Alley and founder Chris McIntyre. No terms but the deal is worth enough to get McIntyre to move from Nashville to San Francisco, according to SiliconBeat. Bloom already has moved there, so despite the numerous dispatches from Miami Beach it looks like PodShow is SF-based. Sounds like PodShow is using some of its $8.85 million Series A funding.
Meanwhile, the company also had its first brush with the wrong side of podcasters when it posted some rather controlling TOS for its PodSafe Music Network. No fools they, the offending language has been altered.
