Mobile music services are worried about the anticipated announcement of Apples’ iTunes phone, which is evidenced by “we do mobile music already” stories. Following Microsoft is Napster, which is touting a deal with Motorola — presumably to emphasise the giant handset manufacturer isn’t in an exclusive deal with Apple (which is touting a mouse on its homepage as if it were something special). “Motorola’s Moto Q smart phone will be compatible with the Napster To Go portable-subscription music service, Napster said yesterday…Moto Q’s compatibility seems to be generating particular enthusiasm. The company says it expects Moto Q to be available in the first quarter of next year.”
