Bharti Crosses One Million Landline and Broadband Connections

Exchange4media.com: India’s largest private sector telecom operator Bharti Televentures Ltd announced that it has achieved a landmark by crossing one million customers in landline and broadband services.
BTVL owns the brand Airtel, which started its services on June 4, 1998. It started providing broadband and telephone services in 66 cities and in 14 circles. It also announced that it would further expand its operations to 14 more cities. For this, it will make an investment of Rs 1,500 crore by the end of the current financial year, thus taking its cumulative investment on broadband and telephone services to more than Rs 3,500 crore.
On the mobile side, BTVL has 12.7 million subscribers.
