Verizon Wireless is delaying its mobile music service. The service was supposed to up and running for upcoming holiday season, but will not be rolling out the service until early 2006.
The over-the-air download service will now be the third mass-market music service in the U.S: Sprint Nextel has announced plans to roll out a similar service this year; and Cingular Wireless is expected to announce Sept. 7 that it has aligned with Apple and Motorola.
