What happens to SBC-Yahoo…AT&T-Yahoo? Anyway, BW Online is reporting that SBC, which is in the process of buying out AT&T, might take on the name of the 120-year-old telecom brand. The plan reflects SBC’s new national identity and its desire to market AT&T’s Internet phone service to consumers around the country. And it gives SBC a marketing weapon to use against its rivals.
