I’ll just make a point here: In U.S., Verizon Wireless is definitely grabbing the bull by the horns, as far as advanced mobile content services are concerned. It has started advertising its ringback and video (Vcast) efforts heavily on network TV, and in prime time. The success of Rockstar: INXS is also helping spread the word.
And though there’s no evidence yet that any of those services have or will become popular with the U.S. consumers (especially when people had started writing off ringbacks as a Korea-only phenomena), at least Verizon is putting the money where its mouth is.
When the market is still in its infancy, these ads help grow the market..I hope others learn from this and pick up the cue…
