Some site news for our sister site Moconews.net: As a testament to the activity in the mobile content industry, our e-mail newsletter is going daily from this week: from Mon-Wed-Fri to every weekday.
For the website and RSS readers, nothing changes (we already update the site almost every hour of the weekday).
Meanwhile, still on the editorial enhancement, as we mentioned before, we’re planning to start a “MocoNews.net Startup Showcase“. We’re also planning a mobile video panel/mixer sometime in October.
On the reports side, our next Mobile Content Deals Report is going to come out in October first week, covering Q2. Also, we’re reviving our Mobile Music Report from next month (we did it for a few months early last year), so watch out for that. Also, more niche reports on the mobile video and gaming sector, coming in the next few months.
On the conference beat, we’re bringing aboard Peggy Anne Salz, a highly respected journalist who’s been covering the mobile space for the likes of TheFeature, eContent Magazine, Informa Telecoms. She’ll be a contributing writer, and first up, she’ll be doing extensive coverage from the Mobile Content World conference in London.
I’ll be at CTIA, also in Sept, for the Mobile Entertainment Summit and Billboard MECCA.
Thanks for all your readership and support, and if you want to thank us, drop a note for all the hard work to our MocoNews.net principal correspondent James Pearce. He’s da man…
