Korean Mobile Game Publisher Raises $8 Million From U.S. Firms

U.S. VC firms are now also looking at other markets for investment into the mobile content and gaming sector: Com2uS, a Korean developer and publisher of mobile games, has raised $ 8 million in financing led by Storm Ventures and Walden International. The money will be used Com2uS’ game development programs, and also marketing activities within Korean and international markets.
This round of investment represents the largest amount ever raised by a Korean mobile game company, says the company, though I would need more evidence on that. Its game titles available from SK Telecom, KTF, and LG Telecom in Korea and Vodafone Global, NTT DoCoMo, China Mobile, and T-Mobile internationally.
