“Our” being NBC and Microsoft’s way…in a stange meeting of minds, Deborah Reif, head of NBC Digital Media and Blair Westlake, VP of Microsoft’s Media/Entertainment & Technology Convergence Group pen a joint editorial in B&C, asking the industry to sieze on the results of the “MGM v. Grokster” case.

“We urge our fellow media creators, owners and distributors; technology and software companies; and consumer-electronics manufacturers to join us in a concerted, focused drive to give consumers the digital access they want and copyright owners the protections they need, so that the long-deferred marriage of technology and content can finally take place.” And yes, use MSFT’s technology and consume NBC’s content…blah blah, blase, blase
